Step into the “Flame Blue” and pay tribute to our guardians!
On the eve of the 98th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army, the “Military-Civilian Bond: Building a Safety Line Together” August 1st慰问 event was warmly held at the fire and rescue detachments in Wuxing District and Nanxun District. As a local enterprise based in Huzhou, OPAL Quartz, with profound respect for “the most lovable people,” actively joined this heartwarming relay of goodwill.
At the event site, representatives from OPAL Quartz, together with local leaders and representatives from other caring organizations, delivered carefully prepared supplies for heat relief, daily necessities, fruits, and pastries to the firefighters. Box after box of aid conveyed the city’s warmth; an in-depth visit brought hearts closer; and repeated handshakes forged the united strength of the military and the people. “You safeguard the lights of countless homes— we will safeguard you!” — this heartfelt pledge is carried forward with every gesture of goodwill.
At the equipment depot, firefighters showcased a wide array of state-of-the-art firefighting and rescue gear to the visiting delegation, explaining their functions and operating procedures through real-world case studies. Attendees gained a firsthand sense of the technological prowess and professional expertise that “flame-blue” personnel bring to safeguarding urban safety.
Stepping into the living quarters and the training ground, one cannot help but be struck by the soldiers’ rigorous discipline. The meticulously folded “tofu‑block”‑shaped bunks stand as a testament to ironclad order, while the deep sweat stains and telltale marks of wear on the training field silently bear witness to relentless daily effort and an unwavering sense of duty and readiness.
Today marks the glorious 98th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army. On behalf of all employees at OPAL Quartz, we pay our highest respects to every firefighter and officer who tirelessly safeguards the lives and property of the people. Your unwavering loyalty, forged in the flames, is this city’s most steadfast armor. With the military and civilians united as one, nothing can stand in our way; hand in hand, we will ensure that safety endures forever!
